Akalewold W. Bekele

Akalewold is a doctor from Ethiopia currently doing his residency in internal medicine. As a general practitioner, he has practiced medicine at all levels of the health care pyramid in his country and has assumed different roles and responsibilities other than clinical care. He is an advocate for equitable universal primary health care and for resilient health care sectors in African countries and is engaged with several local and international organizations with aligned goals.
