Salwa Bitar

Dr. Salwa Bitar is a Medical Doctor with a master’s degree in public health. She worked in the USAID Jordan PHN office for 17 years before joining Management Sciences for Health (MSH) in 2007 to work as the global alliance and scaling advisor on two global flagship projects for family planning, reproductive health, safe motherhood, and health system strengthening, the Extending Service Delivery (ESD), and Evidence to Action (E2A) projects. In 2015, Salwa took the position of Chief of Party for IntraHealth’s Palestinian Health Capacity Project based in Ramallah/Palestine. The project focused on improved referral systems between the Palestinian Ministry of Health (PMOH) and non-PMOH hospitals, health professional development and education, and multiple informatics solutions for the health sector including a health information system for all PMOH hospitals.
