Neha Misra
Neha is the co-founder & chief collaboration officer of Solar Sister, the world’s first women-led social enterprise addressing extreme energy poverty at scale through women’s entrepreneurship and leadership. Solar Sister’s award-winning innovation combines the breakthrough potential of solar and clean cooking technologies with a woman-driven last mile distribution network to bring light, hope, and opportunity to off-grid communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. National Geographic and Forbes have featured Neha’s work to democratize light. In 2017, Neha was named a Presidential Leadership Scholar. She was also a winner of the 2016 Bethesda Magazine Green Award, and a Spring 2016 Fellow for the Coaching Fellowship which recognizes extraordinary women leaders globally. Neha holds a Master’s of Business Economics from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor of Science from St. Stephens College, India.
