Fenni Indilakomwa Shikomba

Sister Fenni Indilakomwa Shikomba is a highly dedicated registered nurse and has over 15 years of experience in the field of health and HIV and AIDS management. Fenni has been working in the public and private hospitals of Namibia, which has helped her gain vast experience. She aspires to make a remarkable contribution to the health system of Namibia, especially with COVID-19 in the midst. 

Fenni was driven into nursing at a very young age by her mother who is a retired nurse. Her love and passion for public health grew over the years and now Fenni is a nurse for DREAMS, a project for adolescent and young women that works toward an HIV/AIDS-free future by averting new HIV infections among adolescent girls and young women and lessens the impact of HIV on vulnerable children. 

Fenni holds a comprehensive diploma in general nursing and midwifery science obtained from The University of Namibia and she is currently completing a certificate in community based work with children and youth.
