Len Rubenstein

Len is a lawyer, scholar, and human rights activist. He directs the Program on Human Rights, Health and Conflict at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He was president and CEO of Physicians for Human Rights and has been a senior fellow at the United States Institute of Peace. He founded and chairs the Safeguarding Health in Conflict Coalition, whose goal is to assure protection of patients, health workers, and facilities during situations of conflict or political violence. He has received the Sidel Levy Award for Peace from the American Public Health Association.
