As the senior director for advocacy and communications at Global Health Corps (GHC), Jessica leads communications and advocacy and oversees new fellow recruitment. Before joining GHC, Jessica managed a multi-million dollar grant portfolio on the global tobacco control policy and advocacy team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Prior to that, Jessica spent nearly five years as an independent communications and advocacy consultant specializing in reproductive rights in Asia, Africa, and the US. While on contract with UN Women in Thailand, she developed advocacy briefings on gender-based violence nationally and regionally for Asia-Pacific Member States attending the UN Commission on the Status of Women. Jessica has written for The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Rewire, and Ms. Magazine, among others.
