The future of health work in Africa: three scenarios for exploration

In conjunction with our 40th anniversary, IntraHealth International developed a set of three plausible scenarios for health work in sub-Saharan Africa in 2040. Global health and workforce development experts, as well as experts from outside the health space—including technologists, sociologists, political scientists, economists, and African futurists—provided input which shaped the scenarios. They are not predictions, but stories about the future that will help us make better decisions today. They capture a range of future possibilities—good and bad, expected and surprising, rosy and dark. 

This invite-only, interactive workshop is a platform to explore implications for international NGOs and businesses and strategies to stay relevant in unpredictable futures.
