Ereena is a partnership and private sector engagement officer for the AU COVID-19 Response Fund at the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC). In this role she supports the identification of partnership opportunities as well as the mobilization of resources from AU member states, private sector organizations, and bilateral and multilateral organizations to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 in Africa. She also supports the African Union COVID-19 vaccination Bingwa Initiative in the same regard.

Ereena studied political science at the University of Ghana and has experience in project management and partner engagement. She is a strong advocate for the advancement of development policies and programs that target African youth. She aims to become a key global policy maker to contribute to the implementation of policies that promote the health, social, economic and institutional development of Africans.
