Bob Goldstein

Bob Goldstein is a scientist and biology professor at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. He runs a laboratory that has two main goals: discovering fundamental mechanisms used by cells, and discovering how tardigrades and biological materials more generally can survive some remarkably extreme conditions.  

Bob is also a printmaking artist, and he co-teaches with accomplished printmaker Beth Grabowski an unusual studio art and science lab course that combines their shared interests in science and art.
