Amod Kumar

Amod Kumar is IntraHealth’s Manthan Project director in India and focuses on improving maternal and child health in the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). With 15 years’ experience in administration with the UP Government, Amod has contributed significantly to the areas of e-Governance, education, health, and family welfare and has received the Golden Icon award and the e-Governance Champion Award. His unique career profile gives him expertise in senior-level government functioning and the nongovernmental organization sector and—through his field postings—an understanding of rural markets, which he believes hold the key to India’s future growth.
