Dr. Adetoro Adeyemi Adegoke has more than 20 years of experience working and managing reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health; health systems strengthening; human resources for health; and education programmes. She has extensive experience working across 11 developing countries in Africa and Asia. Adetoro was the Women for Health programme’s Interim Deputy National Programme Manager between 2015 and 2016, providing technical and managerial backstopping to the programme. Since 2012, she has been the Lead Senior Technical Advisor, providing technical oversight and strategic direction. Adetoro led comprehensive assessments of health training institutes and health facilities, built the capacity of tutors and health workers, and led the development of various national policies in many countries.
